The narrator in the video, Alan Watts, explains that we, humans, are no more or less than the world around us. He explains that we are a function of this galaxy founded by the milky way and essentially, we are the universe. We are an eternal soul that does not die, but comes and goes. We are all an aperture through which the universe is looking at and exploring itself; in other words, we are all the universe experiencing itself. The source of all light is in the eye, if there were no eyes the sun would not be light; we evoke light out of the universe. Our eardrums evoke noise out of the ear. Our soft skin evokes hardness of wood; wood is only hard in relation to the soft skin. The external world is just as much us as we are our own body meaning our skin does not separate us from the external world but more so is a bridge from which the external world flows into us and from which we flow into it. Once awakened, we will see that we are the witnesses through which the universe becomes conscious of its glory.
